The Courtesan Revolution..Changing of the Garters

One of the most significant roadblock I have found in this profession is....

The confusion between a prostitute and a courtesan. One may think these two are the same, but that simply is not the case. There is a direct correlation between the two...but as a profession? These two are like day and night.

This page of my blog site is dedicated to the Courtesan Revolution. As President Obama's campaign was centered around hope and change...that is the message I hope to convey. This industry is so shrouded in taboo, legislation and frowned upon by mainstream society. All the media portrays are money hungry, low class crack whores...and the media does not take the time to show all the different angles and depths of this industry! I have always been a mover and a shaker and this...campaign of sorts, is no different. Not all women in this industry are low class, illiterate, money hungry chits. Some of us actually have Master's degrees or some other degree of higher education. Most of the respectable ones are professional in nature...and treat their gentlemen callers with dignity, discretion and respect. I do believe that will be my slogan. Dignity, Discretion and Respect. For too long, men and women (and those that are transgender) have been looked down upon. Why? Because of media portrayal. Because of religous upbringings. I believe there is a vast difference between a hooker, whore, prostitute, escort, provider and courtesan. I want to be a courtesan...and this page of my blog site will explain why.

This page will express my personal viewpoints on this matter and offer education. I hope to help usher in a new era of the courtesan, as I believe it is a lost art...and one that is grossly misunderstood. I will introduce courtesans of yesteryear and the modern courtesans I know.
