My mind races at a million and 2 miles an hour. My memory is very good, but it is habit for me to write things down in a language only I understand. (no one wants to see my filing system....its soo weird)
Dear Radio Station Manager,
I am one of your most devoted listeners. I listen to your station all day, every day even though you play the same 10 songs.
Sometimes after a song is played, the DJ will announce what song was just played. This is good for those of us who wish to write down the info...and go straight to the laptop and download it via Limewire.
However, sometimes the DJ does not give the song info. This happened to me, your most devoted listener today. I was crossing the Whitestone Bridge into The Bronx when I heard a song. I really liked it and it helped me not focus on the fact I was crossing a bridge. (i am scared of falling in to the water below).
Hold on while my mind skips to a random thought...I wonder what I will eat for dinner tomorrow? Steak perhaps....and now I am back at the matter at hand.
Due to the fact the song info was not given by the DJ, I had to make a note of the song...what the hook was and who I thought sung it. If I do not write down something I want to remember at ASAP....the thought passes. LAX and JFK don't have as many flights as my thoughts do. Since I had to make some notes...after crossing the bridge, I had to pull off to the right side of the road...from the left side. A good 5 lanes of road...during rush hour. I am sure I will receive a paper from someone's attorney requesting compensation for trauma and emotional damages...perhaps physical. Who knows? if so, I will forward the bill to you.
Please have your DJ's announce all song info...the scene on Whitestone Bridge could have been more serious than it was.
Also tell Angie Martinez her website is whack and please inform her that NO ONE uses Myspace anymore.
